A Note to the RNC from an Ex-New Yorker

In response to my column "How to Get GOP Back to Basics," ex New Yorker Lee Anthony Nieves, now relocated to Charlotte, NC., suggested returning those fundraising letters from the RNC with the following "peso" attachment found on an anti-illegal immigration site. He feels this will let the RNC know how grassroot Republicans feel about their performance in Congress. Personally I try and avoid any overt criticism of our beleaguered president but on the issue of immigration amnesty he does need a wakeup call. Security first. Those here illegally can be dealt with later. We are all forever behind Bush on the war on terror and those Republicans retreating from that support will lose ours as well.
