Catholic League Takes on Bill Maher

Bill Donohue, President of The Catholic League, took on Bill Maher in a press release asking Time Warner to pay attention to the vitriolic comments by comedian Bill Maher made on his HBO show. Considering the fact that Don Imus was fired by WCBS and MSNBC for his racially ignorant remarks about the Rutgers women's basketball team, what are the chances that Bill Maher will suffer the same fate? Highly unlikely.
In a previous press release, Donohue made an effort to present the truth about the Inquisition which is missing from a PBS program weeks ago, "The Secret Files of the Inquisition." Clearly, Catholic bashing is in vogue on both network and cable television and they wonder why the ratings are down.
